About Vanessa Mares
Building a community that embraces nuance.
Hey! 👋🏻
I'm an independent writer and creator drawing on 10+ years in film, media, and marketing to break down the persuasive techniques used to sell everything from products to political tribes, and to share my own take on how they’re playing out in culture right now.
Every donation helps me spend more time researching, scripting, and creating content that encourages critical thinking. Thanks for being here :)
