I spent my weekend in the alpines hiking through rain, clouds and tracks you’d swear were streams it was wet muddy but a lot of fun,

one tired man after a slippery descend from 1100 m in the clouds 
hitting the tree line back into the birch wood forest 
nothing but clouds for hours but a nice trail along this section of the paparoa trail 
found this ancient old historic hut probably built by a old gold prospector or miller 
walking along the moonlight track saw this nice blob of mossy rocks 
countless waterfalls littered the first 7km Of the trail
