The time has come for me to ask.
If people do not know your need they can not bless you. This is something I was always taught in Sunday school. A blessing can be a prayer for the need and prayers are greatly needed.
This is by far the lowest cost solar system I have found. It is for us. This need is for us.
After moving (to a much better situation for us personally— lower rent— much closer to school— lower floor so less flights to walk if needed) we learned that in this area of the city when the power goes so does the cell service. Leaving us to no access to alerts, information on bombings and missiles, cutting off contact for hours at a time.
The heat is bad and getting worse. The heat messes with your head more than anything. And I am talking about deep sweat fall asleep in a puddle of sweat wake up in the same bigger puddle.
But most importantly (and the reasoning my husband used to get me to post this) I can’t help people without access to the internet. I am in email conversations with companies in the US to help us help those here. I can’t have these conversations without access to service and my router needs to be on for that.
This system will power our phones, my nebulizer and a much needed fan at the same time. The solar panel allows to be sure it is always charged (it can be hard to fully charge with the two hour chunks of power we have now).
So if you find it in your heart to help us help them (and ourselves) please consider helping us get this.
You can see the local price (plus about 100 uah for delivery) which with today’s exchange rate is about $345. I know it is steep and I absolutely hate asking but my husband is right. It is time.
I need to have faith that a few dollars at a time we can get this before they sell out. The next cheapest I have found is more than double this price.
