❤️🩹 Update on My Sister — We Could Really Use Some Extra Prayers & Support
Unfortunately, my sister has regressed a little, and today has brought some new concerns for our family.
Her strength has gone backward, and we're noticing increased delays again with her processing speed and comprehension. I called her neuro team this morning to let them know what we're seeing. They're reassessing everything and will get back to me about whether she needs to be moved to Spaulding for a higher level of care.
We obviously hoped we'd continue seeing forward progress, but right now we're taking things one day at a time and making sure she gets whatever level of care she needs. ❤️🩹
She DID, however, manage to give her sister a very specific list of demands. 😂❤️
NEW sweatpants, T-shirt, undies, socks and FOOD because, according to her, "the food sucks here." 😂
So apparently I've added personal shopper, clothing delivery service and hospital DoorDash to my current job description. 😂 If she's complaining about the food and bossing her big sister around, I'll happily take it. ❤️
Between helping my sister, helping with the kiddos, traveling back and forth, and trying to keep Untwisted Tragedies running whenever I can squeeze in a stream, life is pretty chaotic right now.
That's also why I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported me through this.
