In my annual "Thank You" cards for clients, I include 2 gift certificates - one "For You" for my client and another "For A Friend". To sweeten the pot for the friend a bit more, I staple a 20% off coupon (with First Time Buyer code) to the Friend's gift certificate.
Here's what I mean -- the 20% off coupon includes the QR code of my website. Blank copy is for you to personalize.
