Are you also experiencing collective whiplash? Between sweeping geopolitical shifts, the acceleration of AI, and an ambient sense of climate dread, the world feels like it is spinning completely off its axis. As a reader, people often ask me if my table is busy because everyone is desperate for a fortune. I tell them noβit is busy because people are desperate to reclaim their agency. Tarot makes more sense right now than at any other point in modern history because it acts as a circuit breaker for the digital noise. When a card like the Eight of Swords lands on the table, it beautifully scales down the crushing macro-chaos of the universe into a micro-level action plan. Instead of staring helplessly at giant, systemic forces you cannot change, the cards gently remind you that the blindfold you are wearing is self-imposed, shifting the question from "What is the world doing to me?" to "Where am I choosing to tie my own hands?"
The Tarot deck is built on ancient archetypes that understand collapse is a prerequisite for rebirth. When we see The Tower crumbled by lightning, we are looking at a visual representation of the institutional decay we see on the news every day. Yet, the cosmic sequence dictates that the Tower is always followed by The Starβthe archetype of quiet healing and clear skies. Tarot offers us the grounding medicine of cyclical wisdom, giving us the extra clue that chaos isn't the end of the story, but the necessary, messy middle of a predictable human cycle. Turning to the cards right now isn't about escaping reality; it is about building the internal resilience to show up to a volatile world with your sanity intact. When the external world completely loses its mind, tarot gives you the map to go inside and find your own. If you want to learn tarot, contact me.
