This is something I want to be transparent about because a few of you have already noticed it. I finally cracked a workable method for turning Unknown Shores into short animated video scenes using Leonardo AI. What you saw with Dartimen and Rillian arguing on the beach was not a fluke. It was a proof of concept. Short scenes. Character driven moments. Actual motion and pacing rather than still images pretending to be something more.
Could this eventually become a full animated series. Maybe. I am not going to promise that because that kind of production takes a real team and real resources. What I can say is that short animated scenes and story moments are absolutely doable right now. The limiting factor is not ideas or experience. It is time, tools, and people.
To do this properly requires a Leonardo AI team subscription and several people actively working on animation, cleanup, and sequencing. A team account alone runs around three hundred dollars a month. On top of that, paying four or five collaborators even modestly so this does not burn anyone out is where your support would actually be going. Not into vaporware. Not into vague development. Into turning these shorts out faster and more consistently.
As for voice work, that part is covered. These will be human voiced. I will be voicing characters myself, along with voice actor friends I have worked with for years. If you are familiar with This is Otakudom, Project S T E A M, or Fanboy Soze from the anime convention circuit, then you already know this is not new territory for me or the people I work with. We have done this kind of thing before, just in a different era and with different tools.
So that's the deal. The more support this gets, the faster these animated shorts come out and the more ambitious they can become. At the very least, it means more scenes, more characters, and more of Unknown Shores actually moving and speaking instead of just living on the page.
