My name is Umm Assad, and I am the author and owner of a children's book publishing business and homeschool blog. I focus on creating authentic Islamic educational resources for children, parents, and teachers. All my works are meticulously checked by knowledgeable students to ensure authenticity, and I avoid picture-making in my illustrations.
Growing up in London in a large Muslim family and having a background in caring for children and the elderly, I have always been passionate about education. After many years as a carer, I travelled to the Middle East to enhance my Arabic and Islamic education, which profoundly influenced my writing and educational resources. As a mother and homeschooler, I am committed to providing alternatives to mainstream educational materials that sadly contain un-Islamic elements, such as magic and corrupt ideologies.
If you have seen my work, you know how dedicated I am to ensuring our children's resources are authentic, always providing references from the Quran and Sunnah.
The demand for more Islamic educational resources like books, illustrations, and animations has grown significantly. Alhamdolillah.
