𝙈𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙖 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙚𝙧𝙖.

First off, I want to say thank-you to all of those people who have supported both the Whistler Mountain Mapping Initiative (old-school, circa 2013 ULLR Maps for the uninitiated), and ULLR Maps through it's many iterations, and purchasing my maps. You're the reason ULLR has grown into what it is today, and the reason I'm invested in continually improving our maps.

As you probably figured out, the dedicated iOS / Android apps disappeared off their respective app stores. I can understand the frustration people must have felt, not being able to access and download their maps, however ongoing development and maintenance costs were the primary reasons development ceased, and the apps were unceremoniously shut down and pruned from the stores.

This year, ULLR Maps is moving into a new era. I'm relaunching ULLR as a free-to-use, community-oriented web-based application. This is something that I've never done before, and something that comes with a lot of excitement, anticipation and some trepidation. The underlying reason for this change is to ensure as much longevity for ULLR Maps as possible, to streamline development, and ultimately create a more community driven project.

I'm very excited about this change, and can't wait to see what the future brings.
