My young teenage students in particular love this song, mostly because they love Girl In Red.
This one will be extremely rewarding when you can play it along with the song, but it does require lots of practice and patience with yourself!
Here’s why I teach this song..
1. Girl In Red is super popular with the Gen Z’ers and beyond. Her songs are great fun to learn, and super fun for beginners as they tend not to have too many chords in them.
2. It uses nice beginner chords, and is very repetitive so it means you can focus more on the strumming and the rhythm and really build on those skills.
3. You can really hear the strumming and picking patterns in the song when you listen to it, making it easier to learn and understand how to play
