In this Blog I will share a little of what I film with.
For sometime now I had been using my awesome Canon M50 mark ii with a great Rode Mic, that I still love and may still use. This Camera came after using the M50 that I had been using for around 5 years and I loved that camera as well. Both the M50 Cameras are 24Mp mirrorless cameras, light and easy to use and with a helpful tripod, it made filming very easy at the time.
I come from a background of using handy camcorders from Mini DV Tapes, to later SD Card HD Cameras and so having a camera that was easy to use was a something I had to have always.
The reason I went to a mirrorless cameras, was because after watching a few Think Media videos I liked that you could change the lens, the M50 had a touch screen and it came with a mic jack, so I could add a microphone, when my camcorders did not and the video was much better.
Not that long ago I saw the amazing DJI Pocket 3, from DJI and felt this was the next step in leveling up my own video on Youtube. I really wanted something again that was easy to setup and use. The fate it had a gimble that followers you around as you film, was the buying point for me this time.
A little later I got the Creators Combo for the DJI and that comes with a little mic you may have seen other Creators us, a mini tripod and other gear that you can use with that camera.
I tend to use the DJI Pocket 3 now for filming, I use its mic sometimes, as it has its own mini 3 mics built in and a tripod + lights or outside depending on what am filming and if its raining or not. I mainly enjoy filming outside and have found you guys like them videos more too.
I have a little micro SD for the camera, but am looking to get a better and bigger one soon as the camera don't like the one I use, saying it is so slow. The only thing I don't like is the fate it take much longer to render the video files after I have edited them as the video is much better. So maybe a Computer upgrade one day.
