Soutenir Tristan Theroux

Senior System Administrator · open-source advocate · Unix (Linux & macOS)

10+ years keeping Linux, macOS, and Windows systems reliable and secure. I lead the AlmaLinux Media & Entertainment SIG, and outside work I build tools that make enterprise-grade Linux usable by anyone, no paywall, no terminal required.

What I'm building :

AlmaLinux Creative Installer, One-click installation of 40+ creative applications on AlmaLinux.

Polaris, Post-install setup tool for Fedora KDE (drivers, repositories, and essential apps, all handled automatically).

Invoices, A clean, modern invoice generation tool built for freelancers and small teams.

Overtime, A streamlined tracking tool designed to log and manage extra hours seamlessly.

Community & Consulting

I actively help users debug complex setups across the AlmaLinux Mattermost, TrueNAS Discord, and NetBird Slack. If you've pinged me about a broken migration or a weird kernel panic, that was me having fun, not doing a favor!

I also offer consulting for small studios and freelancers to help them get the most out of Linux, optimize their infrastructure, or solve tough system administration challenges.

Why Support?

Maintaining open-source tools, writing documentation, and staying active in the community to help people troubleshoot issues takes a significant amount of time and effort.

My goal is to make open source my full-time focus. Every donation, no matter how small, helps me pay the bills, keep these tools actively maintained, and ensure community support remains completely free and accessible to everyone.

Thank you for helping make this possible!
