Office Document is a free extension of the Interactive Video Activity plugin for Moodle. With this extension, you can upload and display an office document such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Open Document formats.
Supported file extensions: .odt .docx .doc .odp .pptx .ppt .xlsm .xlsx .xls and .ods
The office document is rendered by the online office document viewer made available by Microsoft (no Microsoft subscription or account is needed). This viewer can only render the publicly accessible office file. So, when you upload a document for this interaction, the plugin will make a copy of the file and make it publicly accessible via a link. The original file and the copy are both stored on your Moodle instance.
Since this is an online tool, you or your learner must have an active internet connection to view the document.
