Thank you very much txActivitySteps! It's a perfect workaround around new Garmin models' regression with counting too much distance when doing the walking activity leisurely with standing around. On "old" Instinct 2 it was fine, but on "new" Instinct 2X it counts 30-200% longer tracks. Seems the same for FR935 vs FR955. For tracking walks with a kid, new Garmin's are unusable. Thanks to your awesome txActivitySteps I managed to get consistent readings that are within 1% accurate even for different paces. It's like magic!
Hello 'univentol', Many thanks for your donation! It is very much appreciated, and I am glad the app serves you well. However, having 30-200% longer tracks in the standard activity stats is not normal, and there must be something wrong. If you send me a link to a sample activity demonstrating such dramatic error of distance, I am willing to look at it, and try to find where the problem may be coming from.
