Several years ago, I had a series of Dreams where I was standing before Jesus in Heaven, and He told me to forget everything and follow Him. As scary as following Him can be at times, I am certain he has me in the palm of His hand. If he is on the water, I need to be out of the boat, not relying on earthly security, but radical faith in Him. This post is a continuation of my series of Dreams titled "Forget Everything and Follow Me'', which will be posted soon.
This year has been full of change... Years of preparation, crushing family curses, and refinement have led to this moment. Becoming self-employed is part of the piece of the puzzle that will enable me to control my schedule to work for Jesus. We see in part, but God sees the Big Picture. For the past couple of years, I have been pouring into men, teaching from my book "Killing the Code." Instructing others how to overcome cycles of sin and not be a slave to anything sinful is something I never thought I would be in a position to do. I met Pastor Jeremiah several years ago, and His radical, crazy faith, the kind of faith many Christians are scared of, instantly connected with me. I knew we'd work together, but I didn't know when or how.
He allowed me to work with some men helping. It was fruitful. This was all a part of a divine plan. I was getting used to living in a new location, building relationships, and growing in building God's Kingdom. I was also learning to hold loosely to worldly treasure and worldly wisdom for the pursuit of eternal treasure and wisdom. Spiritual Warfare was heavy for a few years, to the point of nearly throwing in the towel some days. Now I understand. It was preparation for what was to come.
My wife always said I was a pastor. I thought she was crazy, still do a little lol! I'll spare the details, but I'm excited and humbled to be God's pick for S.O.S Associate Pastor. A church truly in the trenches, reaching into the bowels of Hell to save the lost.
