I'm Ben, a 31-year-old Mountain biker and avid outdoor enthusiast.
I've been addicted to mountain biking since 2003 when the pinnacle of the sport was freeriding. The goal was to find the highest drop-to-flat you could and send it so big that you knock yourself out cold on the handlebars. Gnarly.
Things have changed a lot in the sport since then, the trails, bikes and a wider acceptance of the sport have transformed it into an amazing international community. Something that I'm really proud to be a part of.
I created the Youtube channel Trail Atlas with the intention of celebrating and showcasing New Zealand's world-class trails.
