The Necromancer's Tide is a gothic serial about a coastal town, the water that surrounds it, and a debt that was never paid.
In Chapter One, it is Mabon, the second harvest, and while her coven celebrates with apples and cider, a young witch stays home to attempt her first summoning. Salt ring drawn, quarters called, sigils copied into her book of shadows, and a cameo pendant that was never hers laid in the West. When the equinox tips the year toward darkness, she asks the dead one question.
What answers is older than any ghost, and it says only this: something is owed.
By nine o'clock the tide is rising against the moon.
