I undulate between flights of fancy, and the humble grounding that comes with arranging words into meaning. I take in, express… Notice, craft… Discern, convey…

It’s my own sacred rhythm. Honoring it brings pain, and healing. Confusion, and grace. Solitude, and trust.

While I can’t always write my way to understanding, or the answers I desire, I’ve found that the pure joy of writing, along with simple pleasures, and the extraordinary beauty that can be found anywhere, can be more than enough.

I write essays and poems, and share observations, musings, and photos. Lately I’ve been playing with paper in new ways (I guess it was only a matter of time!) ~ collages, origami…

I’m finding my voice in my crone years, expressing my heartfelt desires for liberation, peace, health for all people, creatures, and our planet, and justice, while amplifying the voices of others who are more articulate in their resistance, and from whom I am grateful to learn so much.
