I am checking out how these posts work on this site. Maybe I can put some other content on this service than at the touchonian.com substack page. Maybe more of a random daily diary thing for Touchonian subscribers that just can't get enough (and I hope there are some). I'll see how it works and what it looks like. Maybe it will develop into something a little different. We'll see! Maybe a series of "What I was thinking about while I was out for a morning stroll' posts. Ok that is a category, The Morning Stroll.
At the bottom is a phone photo I took while out walking this morning. The light was lovely. I went out for an hour and a half walk which added up to about 9,500 steps on my phone app. I rented a big house for a studio in the burbs of Northwest Albuquerque, New Mexico. I really like it. We still have our house in Santa Fe, but this is the main studio now.
I was actually thinking about a number of things this morning while walking. But I wasn't thinking of the idea of writing any of it down so I have probably forgotten most of the good stuff. Sitting here I can't even think of the subjects I was thinking about off of the top of my head. But maybe something will come to me before I finish writing this. For this page I might even talk about what is going on the in news, really just anything that comes to mind maybe since this is just bonus writings for the 'Coffee Club" Yes! That is what this will be, you the supporters who buy me a coffee are now the Coffee Club at the Touchonian Sidewalk Cafe. Random talking about whatever. Maybe this has a comments section so we can actually converse. Coffee Club. I like that. That will be the title for this post and a new category. So that made me look around for a pic of me having coffee at a sidewalk cafe in Paris, (this one was from back in 2005) so I posted the above photo so that it shows up as the cover photo for this post.
This first post will be public. Then after this only for the Coffee Club supporters. Then there is another category for members who sign up for the monthly or annual membership. I'll have to figure all of that out as I go along. I have the basics of the membership thing set up but I have not thought it all through yet. So I'll keep adjusting this post to reflect whatever I dream up. I am like a kid in a candy store a lot of the time.
There is an option to email these posts out to the Coffee Club so I am going to do it, I presume you can opt out if you want to. OK that is enough for now. There are only two of you so far on the first day getting this message. Happy 4th of July!
