We’re all for right to repair and we support you guys fixing your own stuff. However, its important to follow every step to the T.
Here we have an iPad that had a blown component. The client forgot to disconnect or separate the battery. Once they connected the screen and caused damage to that component. Easily replaceable for us but most repair shops don’t have the skill and equipment to save the day. And of course, they had to pay for the service which bit into their budget.
Theres a ton of resources out there for DIYers so make sure you watch the videos several times. Even play them as you’re working on the device to make sure you dont miss anything. If it goes wrong, we’re happy to help.
