One of the many reasons why I wanted to have a BMAC specifically for Top in Fiction is because it allows ONE-TIME donations. I realize that sometimes subscribers and supporters can't do it on a monthly basis but every now and then might have a couple dollars they can give. This is a great opportunity to offer that option.
There are also opportunities for monthly/yearly subscriptions as well. Not to confuse the membership here with the one we already have going over on Substack, but now the option is available and any rewards promised will remain the same across both platforms so as not to confuse anyone.
I'm mostly going to promote our BMAC as a place for one-time payments and times when I might want to do something special for Top in Fiction writers and I need the community of supporters to step up.
I'm reminded of a time, very early on, when Top in Fiction was looking to acquire the URL and how the community came through in such a huge way that allowed me to purchase our domain for several years as well as connecting it to our Substack. If not for a place like BMAC that would not have been possible.
