Anonymous Beers!

Several contributions of beers have come anonymously - in terms of the public view on here anyway. They appear as “Someone bought you a beer”. I have used the usual reply on here to say thank you - but does that “someone” see that, or get a notification in their email? Maybe I need to reply directly myself to the email address of the contributor (that I see)? Thank you all the someones anyway!
