I am certainly the one playing, yet I am simultaneously the one listening intently. There is something about me that sets me apart from others. To some—such as medical professionals—I might appear "unconventional." Thus, part of my individuality lies in existing outside the boundaries of what is considered "normal." And so... Regardless of my state of being or the nature of my individuality, I will continue to pursue what I excel at and what I love. I view the recordings of my original compositions as the fruits of that endeavor. There are those who listen to my music and tell me, "It healed my soul." Interestingly, I am one of those people myself; I experience a twofold healing through the very words shared with me. Thank you for taking the time to open your heart. Tomomi Kato
