We’re officially bringing Halloween inside the mountain house, and we are excited to share every cozy, moody detail with you! In our latest vlog, we kicked off spooky season by transforming our gallery wall with floating mini skeletons, lining our high window sills with glowing pumpkins, and styling our antique hutch into a cabinet of oddities complete with preserved leaves, black roses, and raven terrariums.
Of course, mountain living always comes with a few unexpected twists. Just as we finished setting up indoors, a local black bear decided to visit our front porch and try his hand at carving one of our real pumpkins before we could even get outside to decorate. Beyond the Halloween chaos, we’re also sharing a quick update on our dog adoption journey, taking you along on a quick trip to Atlanta for a Kacey Musgraves concert, and introducing three new koi fish (Reba, Julia, and Goldie) to the canoe pond.
