We had a perfectly good plan for our Sunday. We were going to look for some mid-century modern furniture for the living room makeover and maybe get a little organized. Instead, we completely pivoted and came home with a 12-foot skeleton named Larry.
Literally nothing went as planned this week, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We spent the afternoon trying to fit 84 pounds of giant bones into the car, assembling him right in the middle of the living room, and dealing with a minor pumpkin-related head injury. Wally, as always, remains completely unimpressed by the entire situation.
Amidst all the early Halloween chaos, we did manage to sit down and talk through some of our actual upcoming plans for the house. We're looking at completely flipping the living room layout and opening up a wall for a new open-concept kitchen. It's going to be a massive project, but we're excited to get started.
