After seeing the news about Patrick Christys today, I’d be lying if I said it didn’t make me think.
But my month on the French coast is still going ahead.
This September I’ll be spending a full month there — travelling the coastline, filming, photographing, livestreaming and documenting what I actually see on the ground.
And quite simply, I wouldn’t be able to do it without the people who have supported me through Buy Me a Coffee.

What has happened to Patrick is a stark reminder that covering this subject can come with consequences. But it hasn’t changed my plans.
I’ll still turn up.
I’ll still put myself on those beaches.
