Historically set in the summer of 1967 until early 1968, the battles for Hills 861, 558, plus 881 South and 881 North were some of the fiercest faced by US Marines and PAVN Regulars in the Vietnam War.
This new scenario can represent any of the hundreds of hills turned battlegrounds in Vietnam - Hamburger Hill, Hill 875, Dong A Tay, Mutter's Ridge and many more.
Special rules apply in that you'll have to seize fortified hills, fly in bulldozers to clear vegetation (or use explosives to bring down trees if needed), and fortify each hill as you leapfrog towards the enemy's base.
