About Xavier Scott (THYFWX)
building vertex and running Nexus on my own hardware
I'm Xavier Scott, THYFWX online. I'm a systems specialist and hardware repair tech. I work on Apple boards, networks, custom PCs, and a Proxmox homelab.
I build vertex, a free terminal coding assistant for Apple silicon Macs. It reads and searches your project, shows a diff and asks before it edits, and runs commands in a sandbox. Bring your own API key, or use an access key from someone who runs a Nexus server.
Nexus is the AI system I run on my own hardware: a GPU machine and Proxmox servers. It powers my private Agent Control dashboard, the Nexus bot in my Discord community, and free, rate limited cloud model access for the people I hand vertex keys to.
Support goes to the real running costs: AI inference and API usage, server hardware and power, hosting, and the domain. If my work is useful to you and you want to help keep it running, thank you.
