Thank you very much for your support. As you may be aware the Oceanic Oddities channel has been removed by YouTube which is rather disappointing.
This has occurred before (oceanic being the third iteration of the channel) however unlike the previous times which were copyright related this takedown was due to community guidelines. As the channel had no prior warnings for guideline or copyright breaches I have appealed to YouTube. However I doubt this would have a positive outcome.
As mentioned I have restarted the channel numerous times before and will likely do so again sometime in the future as Australian & NZ film is simply what I really love to work with and share. As it takes time to upload and ensure everything is correct I may not start another YouTube channel for some time.
In the meantime I do intend to re upload some of the more obscure content to my internet archive in addition to the existing content on there which previously couldn’t be made available on YouTube- https://archive.org/details/@daniel_prior147/uploads. I will also continue to maintain and add to the membership google drive available through this platform.
I did have some new conversions uploaded and waiting on YouTube as well as some new titles ordered from abroad. These will make their way onto archive shortly.
I also have a channel sharing british content from my collection on yt which can be found here- https://youtube.com/@britishthrowbacktv?si=XQR3jKm-ZKy1qNVshowever this is less established as it is a side interest.
Again, thank you for your support of the channel and the work that goes into it.
Daniel-
