Dear friends,
One day, when asked the famous question, "What do you do for a living?", I’d like to answer: "I’m a photographer. I wander around Brittany and take pictures of the sky."
"Huh? What are you talking about? Do you make a living doing that?"
"Of course, and quite comfortably, too! "
"Oh, that’s the life!"
"If you want, take a look—I’ve created this collection where I’ll be posting my best photos of the Breton sky."
In the meantime, I process green coffee into "monk’s robe" coffee for a pittance that barely keeps me afloat. But life is beautiful, isn’t it? It certainly is, since I’m alive, I’m writing this, and some of you are reading it! What more could I ask for?
Plus, I'm working on something that should be coming out around here in 2027...
This Monday, I went swimming for the first time since I arrived in Dinan, in Brittany, nearly a year ago. The sky was a perfect blue; the calm sea had taken on its signature emerald green hue. I had the beach all to myself—or almost. It was a true slice of paradise, wild and rejuvenating. The sun, the sky, the sea, the sand, the rocks, the seagulls, the boats, Hébihens Island, the silence, and me, gently touching with my fingertips—just a little more—that sense of fulfillment I’ve been searching for for so long.
