A Special Thank You
I just wanted to take a moment to personally thank those of you who have donated to help support this project. ( if you're reading this, that's probably you!) Your contribution means the world to me, and you are what makes it possible to keep 'this is the spot' running and growing.
I’m so thrilled to officially announce that our website ' Thisisthespot.dog' is up and running! While it’s actually been live since the end of December, we’ve been working behind the scenes and keeping it low-key under wraps, perfecting everything to make sure it’s just right for you. And now, it’s ready!
I’m absolutely in love with how it’s turned out—it’s super fast and built to be mobile-friendly, so it should work perfectly on your phone. when you're hopping on from socials!
We already have some amazing collections like XL Bullys / All BreedsWelcome and Hot Tub Lovers, but there’s so much more to come! Over the next few months, we’ll be rolling out exciting updates, like a search feature, related listings, and a way for you to submit your recommendations directly.
You’ll soon be able to search by triggers and features, too, making it even easier to find the perfect spot for your anxious or reactive dog.
I really hope you love the website as much as I do—I can’t wait to see how it helps our amazing community! Thank you for your support, and stay tuned for all the upcoming updates! 💙
It’s still new, and while we’ve got a lot of great content up already, we’re working hard behind the scenes to add even more. One of the big things on the way is our overseas listings!
For those of you looking for listings in the US, Canada, and beyond, don’t worry—they’re coming! Mapping out regions and finding the perfect spots takes a bit more time, especially with how huge states are in the US and how each country manages their areas differently. But rest assured, we’re working on it, and these listings will be available soon for our international spot seekers!
Thank you so much for your patience, and stay tuned for updates. We can’t wait to expand and make this resource even more accessible to everyone across the globe! 💙
Warm Woofs, Lorren & Loki
