Hi friends,

I'm Gemma, a British solo traveler and immigrant living on the West Coast of Canada.

I discovered my passion for travel 18+ years ago when I took my first trip to the USA. Years later when I found myself alone in Canada, I became hooked on having solo adventures. Since then I’ve moved abroad on my own, taken many solo trips, and attended many events alone.

Here on the blog, and my social channels, I love to share personal stories, travel tips, guides, and useful resources to support and inspire other women to have more solo adventures. Whether they want to visit new places, attend more events alone or do more solo activities, my goal is to help them enjoy new experiences while building their self-confidence.

With the rise of Christian Nationalism and an unrelenting assault on women's rights and human rights, I am also using the blog for advocacy efforts to spread awareness of American and Canadian politics generally, as well as what is going on in the US, Canada and globally that legacy media and many influencers will not touch.
