Sometimes, it takes stepping away from your daily routine to truly see what matters most. For me, it was just a short, 3 day getaway with my family but it brought the clarity I didn’t know I was missing.
Those days were filled with things that made me feel alive.
No rushing. No endless to do lists. No constant clock watching.
Instead, we had slow mornings and unhurried afternoons. We wandered through local parks, watched my son’s eyes light up at the zoo, and explored little spots in town just because we could. I visited my favorite cozy bookstore and left with new inspiration for creative projects. At night, once our son was asleep, my husband and I enjoyed late-night ice cream just us, no distractions, no rushing.
I realized something important: joy thrives in the absence of hurry.
