1. About the applications

Channel Analyzer and Next Video Advisor are independently developed Windows desktop applications intended to help YouTube creators analyze their own channel performance and plan future videos.

Channel Analyzer uses YouTube API Services. Next Video Advisor processes locally exported reports and uses locally installed AI software.

2. Information accessed

With the channel owner's authorization, Channel Analyzer accesses information available through the YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API.

This may include video titles, descriptions, publication dates, video identifiers, viewing statistics, watch time, audience engagement measurements, and channel information.

The application uses Google's OAuth authorization process. Users do not provide their Google passwords directly to the application.

3. How information is used

Information is retrieved to generate reports for the authorized channel owner.

Next Video Advisor can analyze exported reports to identify video-performance patterns, group content by subject, suggest future video ideas, and help develop editorial concepts.

The applications are not intended to publish, modify, or delete content from a user's YouTube channel.

4. Local storage and sharing

Channel Analyzer saves exported reports and authorization-related files on the user's computer.

Next Video Advisor reads locally selected CSV files and saves analysis results, creator decisions, and developed concepts locally.

The applications are designed to use locally installed AI software rather than sending channel reports to a developer-operated AI service.

The developer does not intend to sell users' channel information or provide it to advertisers.

Google processes information associated with API authorization and requests according to its own policies.

5. Data retention and deletion

Users can delete locally generated CSV reports, saved analysis files, and other local application data.

Authorization-related files may also remain on the computer until removed.

YouTube API data retention and deletion are subject to Google's applicable requirements. The applications' deletion and authorization-handling procedures must comply with those requirements.

Deleting local application data does not delete videos or information stored by YouTube.

6. Revoking Google authorization

Users can review and revoke access granted to connected applications through their Google Account:

https://myaccount.google.com/connections

Revoking authorization prevents further authorized access, subject to any necessary cleanup of existing local credentials and data.

7. Third-party services

These applications interact with Google and YouTube services. The Advisor also uses separately installed Ollama software and local AI models.

8. Contact

Questions about privacy, access, or requests concerning application data can be directed to:

[email protected]

9. Policy changes

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the applications, their data handling, or applicable requirements. Material changes affecting user data will be communicated as required.
