For those of you who've been using this page to grab my kits and guides over the past five years, quick but important one: I'm retiring this Buy Me a Coffee page and moving everything over to Patreon.
The Wandering Pro has grown. We're past 500 members now, and the website gets somewhere in the neighborhood of 20,000 impressions a month. At that size I need a proper place to share things publicly and actually talk to people, without needing everyone to be in the Discord server.
A lot of you never joined the Discord, and I get it. Being in Pakistan especially, most folks aren't used to Discord and don't want to bother with it.
So after a lot of research, and going through everything I wanted to do and the features I needed, it turned out Buy Me a Coffee just won't cut it. So we're moving to Patreon.
Two reasons, mainly.
One, I put a lot of work into these kits and guides, and I want you folks to get them as easily as possible. Patreon makes it super simple. You don't have to submit your email address again and again. You just follow once, for free, and you get all the stuff we had here, now over there. A much better experience for folks who just want the stuff.
Two, I want to start doing some behind-the-scenes content about what it's actually like to run a community, based on my own path: from a tech support rep, to a nice career, to freelancing, to now running a business.
All of that is polished and up on the website. But there's a lot of unpolished truth behind it, and Patreon makes it really easy for me to share that with the folks who want to follow along the journey.
So Patreon is our new home for all the behind-the-scenes stuff and more.
It's the next public channel we're trying to build out.
