.......sometimes unpleasant or unexpected things happen; if they are dwelled with regrets or disappointments - then we would miss the point.
All things hapened and come with two sides of the occurrence: the positive, and as well the negative sides of them. It's upon which side we want to be on, in those cases; that would determine where we would be moving forward.

The positive side of things when they happen is that, it would open up new opportunities - it channels to a new role and a new learning.
.......so that when it's time to move on to a new journey in life, we would by then be able to bring along lessons to make our lives better and our roles played much more effectively.
At no point should we lose our value or worth; we must not allow things that happened to affect our own esteem. But, still if they must affect us, then let them affect us (our esteem) in a greater way - that allow us to grow and develop some character strengths.
