I have a blog called The Typing Pool; the home of my thoughts and feelings on a variety of topics that I somehow transfer into words. I would like for my blog to help me get better at writing, but to also be a place where I can get to know myself better.

A bit about me: I work in the vinyl record industry. I am in what I proudly consider a successful shoegaze band. I am attempting to write my first literary fiction novel, with the goal of someday publishing it. I am trying to learn to be a copyeditor, so it's important for me to find community with other writers, editors, or copyeditors. I hope to feel confident in calling myself a writer someday. I like to sew, garden, read, ride my bike, be home with my husband and pets, play board games with family, and listen to vinyl records, and the radio.
