FAQ: My movie I'm trying is missing some categories, why?
You may have come upon one of our posts that was for a member that requested a specific category/content type to be removed or an old Reddit list, that's why at the bottom of every post we ask if you have any questions, as everyone has their specific/special things they want removed and we're helping out with that, just let us know in the comments of what you need and we'll get everything for you ;) (this only applies to Memberships that include requests)
FAQ: Why wasn't my content I need removed found?
In order for us to do our job well, you'll need to be specific in what you need skipped, we're not mind readers lol, we try our best but sometimes it's hard to know what people want taken out due to everyone has a different version of what's considered "concerning content" which is why we have the options open to ask us anything about a movie and it's content, so fire away the questions! We don't mind and it'll help us out a lot in helping you out :)
FAQ: I see some movies in the shop but not all, why is this?
We have converted some of our movies into PDF form and they're in the shop, some aren't converted yet (as it takes a process of adding a few things to this version and converting it into a PDF) and we've been busy prioritizing our time into creating more movie timestamps for everyone and our members, if you need a movie turned into a shop item, let us know and we'll get right on that!
FAQ: What types of things do you usually skip?
Here's a list of things we usually find timestamps for people and generally what people are wanting skipped that we've talked with:

Most people we've found things for have requested that nudity and sexual content be found (of their own definition) and so you may need to request on every post what YOUR specific needs are and we'll help you know if your content if present in the movie and we'll help you out! Don't be shy we'll find anything :)
Also again, everyone has their own idea of what fits into these categories so please be specific so we can help you out to our fullest abilities as this page only works based off of the viewers own needs (as it should be cause you guys are the ones using these) but we anyways try our best to gather the most concerning categories and major things first so it's helpful ;)
All these categories listed are not always listed in a movie, again, we gather main categories we think people will need first and assist with other categories as needed :)
FAQ: Why isn't cussing/sacrilege listed?
For us to remove these things we've created a separate membership, as most people we've made timestamps for don't have a need for this and it takes a good amount of time and effort on our part to find these and expect some effort on your part to be skipping every 5 seconds on some shows lol
Plus we were just unsure (and finding 200 some cuss words in a show takes a long time) if people really did want to be that diligent with skipping as some shows would be excessive and not that fun to deal with we could imagine lol
FAQ: How do I find a movie I'm looking for?
At the top of our page there's a button "Posts" click/push that and it'll lead you to our movies available.
If you're looking for a specific movie, there's a little search button present there and you can use that to search any movie (it's a little magnify glass like most use) if your movie isn't in our list you can search "Requesting" and that'll bring up our requesting timestamps posts that you can comment on to receive timestamps from us on that particular movie you're wanting (If you're on a membership that includes requests)
If you're looking for a TV series, those can be found over in our shop in the same way
FAQ: Why are some posts not as descriptive as other posts?
They may have been a request to not divulge info for spoiler purposes or not wanting to read a scene that's being described in a way that the viewer wouldn't like, if you need a post to be more descriptive with more scene info, let us know and we'll get everything you need ;)
TV SERIES
FAQ: Why aren't TV series included with my monthly subscription?
All our TV series are a one time purchase that are in PDF download form due to being basically multiple movies in one and it takes us much longer than the amount of time it takes on a regular movie and $6/$7 a month doesn't cover our time and effort on these, we hope you understand :)

FAQ: I can't find the shop, where is it?
We've gotten this question quite a few times and here's something to help everyone out struggling with this:
Same as posts, navigate to the top of our page and push the "Shop" button and you'll be redirected to our shop, there you can either scroll to find your movie or search with the magnify glass button

FAQ: Why can't I find anything on my membership when I could before?
We've just recently been informed of this type of thing, it seems that when you're subscribed you have a personal profile interface instead of our main website, all you have to do is press our "TheTimestampDudes" name on one of the posts present on your profile and it'll take you to our main page again, no idea why it does this, but hey, hope this helps lol
FAQ: What about movies on disks/DVD?
Movies that are found only on DVD due to they're either older or only available in the US to be shipped from another country on disk, will have to be decided on whether or not the member would be willing to pay for the expenses of having to ship the DVD to us, the movie cost and our extra effort to buy and ship this movie for you. Especially with disks, it's also a risk that the DVD may not come usable, so that's something to think about. We'll inform you if a specific movie requested is only available in this way, but most are available on some form of streaming but some niche movies and foreign films end up having this issue.
FAQ: What if I need more movie requests per week on my subscription?
You can grab another $7 subscription with an alternate email and list it as ("your original name" 2) or use our open to everyone requests at $5, this is to insure it's not seen by other members as us giving out extra free requests to a specific account and each request goes with it's own paid for membership.

FAQ: What's included in the $7 a month membership? How do I know what I'm going to get?
Included in our $7 monthly membership:
All posts we have available on movies (that are going to be continuously updated to further our library and broaden our selections, *does not include shop items*)
Access to requesting timestamps for free (1 per week)
You'll be supporting our efforts to gather every movie for everyone so anybody can get what they need
We'll be able to do more for you when our time and efforts are being compensated and we greatly appreciate it!
A more direct line to talking with us and getting the content info and timestamps you specifically need
Being part of a community that all think alike in terms of wanting to clean up movies

It helps us continue to provide the service we do and encourages us to keep going even when it can be exhausting at times, we also try to use our support money to fund our streaming services that help everyone get all the movies they need (including standalone movies not found on platforms), also if you just enjoy our service and some of our free movie posts and want to show us your thanks :)
FOR ALL USERS/VIEWERS
FAQ: Why is my Movie taking so long?
Normally the reason is due to we watch your specific movie and go over everything manually, list things, make sure each scene doesn't have something hidden in it, formulate the timestamps in a way that will be useful such as: transcribing dialogue in skipped scenes, writing out the timestamps directions in a way that will be clear and helpful, checking with each other to make sure two sets of eyes are on something so there's a second opinion on possible concerning content and some movies are upwards of 3 hours long so the wait may be a tad longer ;) but we try to be as quick as possible but without missing anything you may be concerned about so it's a catch 22
Also..we get a ton of power outages where we live, so if we don't respond or something seems like it's taking a really really long time, consider we may just be in a blackout lol
FAQ: Do you use some type of software to find these timestamps or do you go over them manually?
This is our most asked question by practically everyone so:
No we don't use any type of software, we personally don't trust computers to find something a real human would be concerned about and things real humans would be able to understand concerning this type of thing, we go over every movie manually to ensure nothing is missed that you're concerned about, this is also why there's a bit of a wait to get your timestamps and you need to be specific on what you want, we just want to be thorough ;)
FAQ: How does your site work/operate?
We do things in this fashion:
Viewer requests timestamps + We respond and get on finding them for you + we post them and inform you that they're done + you can then go find them in Posts or in the shop depending on what you wanted
Requesting also includes comments on posts for extra info and timestamps to a specific movie post
FAQ: Are you on any social media platforms?
Yes, we're on FB, Instagram and Reddit, although we mostly just use those for informing people of new posts and reaching new audiences, we'd greatly appreciate the support there as well if you enjoy our service :)

THINGS WE RECOMMEND/THINK YOU NEED TO KNOW
Please ask questions (nicely lol) regarding our posts if you're unsure about what you need as this is how we operate, the viewer has specific needs on what kind of content they don't want to see/hear and we need to hear from you on what you're needing in order to properly help you out :)
We are human and we do make mistakes, please understand that haha, we're so sorry if something was wrong, we can try to fix anything you need so everyone has a good experience, we're not trying to jip you lol
We are only 2 people running this and finding the timestamps, so inevitably, if there are lots of movie requests at once, we may take a bit longer on your movie as we can only work on one each at a time, so please consider this when thinking about how long we're taking and it's not intentional if we're taking long on your specific movie! ;)
If you're seeking out a refund for something:
We will not be refunding most purchases unless there's a real reason and it can be verified with evidence that a refund is necessary, as this can be taken advantage of without due cause. Our refunds that we've done to date were for accidental purchases that weren't intended. If accidental purchases do happen, let us know and it'll be up to us whether or not the refund is justified and there's evidence it was truly an accident, but note most purchases won't be refundable due to the nature of our business and the time and effort we put into things, thanks!
If you want to thank us for your movie request or in general,
please do it on your specific movie you requested or any movie you wanted to show your appreciation for, also you can do this by email, we just want to ensure it doesn't look like favoritism on our part in the "requesting timestamps posts", we mean no harm if we don't reply there as we're trying to avoid this kind of situation (often times we're busy and forgot to reply to everyone and only one person got a reply like we noticed has happened if our notifications act up as they tend to do on posts with a large number of comments like the requesting one) as we came to the conclusion that it may look that way and that's not our intentions, thanks for understanding! :)
Grace period for membership payments
Buymeacoffee gives out a 10 day grace period for failed payments or time to update an expired card. During this time if you are on the grace period and have not paid for your membership renewal for the month, we will not be giving extra movie requests out that have not been paid for until you've settled your bills, since members have purposely stopped payments to take advantage of this in the past, which we will not be tolerating and we respectfully have the right to ban anyone that we suspect of trying to take advantage of us.
Also, each membership comes with our full library so you're still getting access to all our stuff without paying and that's messed up, so be sure to check if your card is expired or if it has been declined due to insufficient funds, thank you.
If a glitch occurs that gives any member access to their membership further than the 10 day grace period without paying (which has happened) your membership will be cancelled and you may be banned if we suspect suspicious activity.
Movie rules for memberships (safety guidelines)
If a movie is requested with a pornographic description or theme, looks to be something only about sex and exists to be such, NC-17 for sexual content or the general consensus is the show is pornography disguised as a movie or have very sensitive subjects (especially if pedophelia is being glorified), those movie's will have to be placed in the shop as a one time buy at $5 and treated as your one request a week when completed (if it's NC-17 we'll have to check if it needs to be priced higher for the content present) as we want these types of movies to be used correctly and not as openly accessible as our posts, since families are on here and we'd like to keep those away from our main library and have this content paid for singularly in hopes it's being used responsibly instead of it taking advantage of the monthly subscription for normal movies. We're not responsible for any requests lost due to this since the membership is very cheap compared to how much time we take on these and dealing with content like this can be problematic, we don't intend to jip anyone of their requests but these rules need to be in place to give us peace of mind with past bad experiences and want to keep things on the up and up.
