Rose-Infused Bath Melts

This is your invitation to soften, to receive, and to let yourself be cared for in a quiet, tangible way.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup cocoa butter (or shea butter for a softer melt)

  • ¼ cup coconut oil (or sweet almond oil for a lighter feel)

  • 1 tablespoon rose-infused oil

  • 10–15 drops rose essential oil (or blend with geranium)

  • 1 tablespoon dried rose petals (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon beeswax (optional, for firmness)

To prepare:

1. Make the rose-infused oil (ahead of time):
Fill a small jar with dried rose petals and cover with a carrier oil (sweet almond, jojoba, or olive oil).
Let infuse for 1–2 weeks in a warm spot, shaking occasionally. Strain before use.

2. Melt the base:
In a double boiler, melt cocoa butter and coconut oil over low heat.
Add beeswax if using and stir until fully melted.

3. Blend:
Remove from heat. Stir in rose-infused oil and essential oils.

4. Pour:
Add rose petals to silicone molds if desired, then pour mixture in.
Let sit until fully hardened.

To use:
Drop one into a warm bath and allow it to melt slowly, releasing softening oils and a gentle floral scent. Let this be a moment where you don’t rush to get out of the bath. Let yourself stay. Let yourself receive.
