Our first work-party on these 6 acres is finally set, and we invite you to join us on June 6, 7, and 8 to raise our Greenhouse!
This beautiful and spacious structure will be a space for us to grow food and medicine with and for our community, and we want your help in bringing it to life. Not only because it is a BIG project and we could use the help, but because our vision for #these6acres is to grow community and ecological abundance . . . and that requires community!
Here are the details:
Days: June 6, 7, and 8 (Friday through Sunday)
Time: 9am until later afternoon each day. Come for whatever days and times you can, and work at the level you feel ready for
Location: these6acres! (if you need the address or directions, send us a message!)
Weather: We will plan for work-friendly weather and will provide updates as needed
What to bring: Please bring gloves, close-toed shoes and work-friendly clothing, though we do not anticipate this being messy work
We would love it if you could let us know if you plan to join, and which days (even if subject to change), by sending us a message directly or through this platform.
A big part of the day is just being together here on the land, and snacks and beverages will be provided for all. We will also provide lunch for all work-party participants and enjoy a “pau hana” when done with work each day.
We will be working on the Greenhouse foundation on the prior two weekends (Memorial Day weekend and May 31/June 1); if you want to join this grubbier work, we would love the help – just let us know.
Please read about our vision for the Greenhouse, and if you can’t join our work party but want to support from afar, remember you can become a member or “buy us trees” right here on this platform.
Finally, to stay informed on this project, or these6acres in general, please complete this very short survey.
Thanks, and we hope to see you at the Greenhouse Work Party!
Zach & Trystin
