Hi, I'm Cynthia. I write at thesandwichlife.com about life in Champaign-Urbana, wandering the Midwest and living with a beloved husband dealing with advanced cancer. It's more fun than I just made it sound. Honest.

I think many folks can relate because in many ways we are more alike than we sometimes think. My passions are music, house concerts (and our own Sandwich Life House Concerts series), architecture, the built environment, back roads, old signs, cooking, 19th-century American glass and antiques, and my family of friends.
