About The Sacred Slope
Hey friends — I’m Alexis Rice, host of The Sacred Slope, a podcast for the spiritually tender, raised or rooted in Christianity, exploring expressions of faith across traditions and cultures.
This project grew out of the ache I felt watching people walk away from faith communities that no longer felt safe, and the hope that there’s still a place for all of us who love Jesus and value inclusion, nuance, and compassion.
I'd love to hear your story. Why are you here? Why are you listening? What would you ask a pastor? Let me know in the "say something nice" section via video or writing, or DM me on IG.
Every episode is a labor of heart — hours of research, recording, booking guests, editing, and prayer — fueled almost entirely by coffee, conviction, and the occasional glass of wine. ☕🍷
If these conversations have made you feel less alone, more curious, or a little more hopeful, you can help keep them going by “buying me a coffee.” Each cup (or pour 😉) helps me cover production costs and keep lifting diverse, courageous voices of faith into the light.
Thank you for being part of this global, inclusive, ever-unfolding conversation.
🕊️ Here’s to more love, more truth, and a few more cups of coffee along the way.
