I'm Raksha, a 30+ married solo female traveler from India who is on a mission to bring the world closer together.

In my videos, I take you virtually with me as I travel. My preferred mode of traveling is slow and solo travel to lesser-known places. I prefer to live in temporary homes in different places that I visit and enjoy the challenges that comes with it. It also helps me gain perspective into a different way of living and I try to showcase that in my videos.

ABOUT ME

I am originally from Moodabidri, Karnataka (India).

Growing up in a small town I never imagined that I would be traveling the world, let alone solo. 

Few years into my job as a Software Engineer, I was yearning to try something drastic from what I knew. I guess I was looking for a challenge to shake up my life.

WHY?

Something changed for me in a BIG way when I went on my first Himalayan trek to Kuari Pass. It made me realise how totally gratifying and life-changing travel can be. That was 2015.

Since then, I prioritised travel - traveled near and far, and have explored 33 countries so far -- most with my own savings & some in my capacity as a travel blogger.

Travel has practically changed my life. I can't believe I've grown so much ever since I started traveling and it has made me the person that I am today. It made me more confident and open minded as a person.
