This year we're gonna be experimenting with different types of garden beds
No dig beds are easy to make and they don't disturb the soil and its natural balance. Weeds turn into compost and feed the soon to be veggies, and micro life is roaming around freely to do its job.
Roots rely on fungi to take them out for dinner, and fungi work best when undisturbed, which is why you can see stronger growth in no dig soil. The fungi grow into plant roots and form a symbiotic relationship in which the fungus donates nutrients (principally phosphate and nitrate) to the plant, in return for a supply of carbon.
Let there be veggies! 🥦🥕🥬
