Hi, I'm Kelly, and I developed the page the Purple Coop to share my passion for growing plants and creating things. More importantly, I love being able to connect other people to the sheer joy of making and growing things. I created this page because it's what I wish had when I was a kid. A place anyone can come to just to try something new, whether they have 10 minutes or days and weeks to invest.
As a person with lots of passions, I like to combine elements of everything into one space. So maybe you'll find a paint exploration project, a seed-starting project, a cooking idea- it all gets to live here. A lot of what I have learned is because similarly impassioned individuals took the time to teach me, and so I want to keep up that generous spirit of giving by sharing anything I can to hopefully enrich someone else's life too!
I want to make sure that all the content and lessons on my page are free to anyone and everyone, as I believe in sharing knowledge and joy of art and plants! This is a page where you can show your appreciation for all the work that goes into this effort by sending me a cup of coffee.
