Hi We are the P plods I'm Kevin, 45, and along with me for the journey are my parents Jenny and Allan, both 73. My dad had 2 strokes in 2020, leaving him with mobility issues, so uses a electric wheelchair we call Wally. His speech is also impaired, but we get along fine by laughing when we're trying to figure out what he's saying. Me and my mum, really tried hard to push him along and not give up in the early days. As soon as he came home we bought a wheel chair adapted car and got him out the house. Eventually, we've got him to a stage we can do everything we did before his stroke. Me, well I moved home after my dad had a stroke to help my mum. It was meant to be temporary but during this time unfortunately I suffered the loss of my partner. After his passing i found it difficult to cope with the grief, so I moved home permanently. So we all helped each other in our time of need and are really coming out the otherside. These vlogs are a new way for us to share our journeys with you We have a touring caravan based in Norfolk which you will see from time to time. She's called Martha and is very old now, which is why she's based on a site and just gets pulled out for us when we go. We ideally want a motorhome but unfortunately pennies won't allow. A lottery win might help haha But I'd love to get one for them to enjoy their holidays travelling about with my chauffeuring them about. We'd love to go travelling around Spain, which is a wish me and my partner paul had, but unfortunately never happened. Anyway, hope I've not bored you if you've gotten this far. And I look forward to you seeing our youtube channel grow with us We will be mostly vlogging about Norfolk (as that's where our caravan is based) and scarborough area (as my sister has a holiday apartment we use there) But also occasionally other holiday destinations and days out etc Your support would whole heartedly mean the world to all of us.
