It’s a smart AI “witness” that helps people find lost and found pets using photos.
Why is this technology special?
P.A.W.S. uses cutting-edge embedding search — so photos are compared by “meaning,” not just by color or shape. Even if the images were taken on different cameras or under different lighting, the system finds similar pets much more accurately than regular search.
You won’t find this in Facebook groups or on most websites — this is big tech, now available for local animal search!
How does it work?
You upload a photo of a lost or found pet, and the system looks for matches among posts from other users. If a match is found, the owner gets an instant notification.
Why is it needed?

How to participate?
You can add posts with photos, or soon use the “Check with P.A.W.S.” button on the website (public access is coming soon!).
