“Independent American political commentary. A European perspective. A very personal reason to speak out.” I'm French by birth, but after spending much of my life between France, Britain, and the United States, I've always felt just as American as French.

With a background in economics and business, I've followed American politics for decades. My commitment to democracy and my opposition to Donald Trump go back long before politics became painfully personal.

Because the truth is, MAGA supporters destroyed much of the life my family and I had built. We eventually left the United States and settled abroad, where rebuilding our lives has been anything but easy.

But they didn't change my convictions. They strengthened my determination to speak out.

That's why I created The Phil DeNice Show: an independent voice covering American politics with a transatlantic perspective, a sense of humor, and no patience for authoritarianism, hypocrisy, or political nonsense.

Two years ago, I came so close to taking my own life. Before I could even begin rebuilding my future, I had to rebuild my health, my strength, and ultimately, myself.

Today, this channel is part of that new beginning. And I'm determined to turn it into more than just a YouTube channel: a community of people who believe democracy is worth defending.

Every video takes hours of research, writing, recording, and editing. And while I'm putting everything I have into making this work, I can't do it entirely alone.
