About The Persistence Podcast - Angelica
At The Persistence, we stir up history, interrogate it, remix it, and uplift the stories they tried to silence. Think less "Founding Fathers" and more founding mothers, freedom fighters, and folks who made power nervous.
This podcast is my love letter to the overlooked. It’s for the people who dared to persist, the marchers, organizers, survivors, and everyday rebels who flat out refused to disappear. Every episode is rooted in deep research and sharp storytelling, because history hits different when everyone’s in the frame.
And, yeah, it takes a lot to get there. Hours of archive research, writing, fact-checking, late-night writing sessions, audio edits, and occasional “wait, how did I not know this?!” crisis.
That’s where you come in.
Your support keeps this work going. You’re not just buying a coffee. You’re fueling the a more honest, inclusive, take-no-prisoners history that educates, resonates, and refuses to look away.
If you're into stories that side-eye the textbooks and sounds like a conversation between Bell Hooks, Lizzo, and your favorite nerdy friend at brunch, pull up a chair. Help keep this work going.
Thanks for being part of The Persistence fam. We’re doing this together.
