As we step into Thanksgiving week, I wanted to slow down for a moment and share something personal about how The Pack Warriors truly began.
This world did not start in my notebook. It started in Nic’s imagination.
Nic is a young man with cerebral palsy and developmental disabilities, but his mind is filled with vivid landscapes and powerful stories. For years, he held the spark of The Pack Warriors inside him. He knew the wolves. He felt their world. He carried the fire long before any of us had a name for it.
He only needed someone who could help him bring it to life.
That is where I came in. I took Nic’s ideas, his instincts, and his vision, and began shaping them into a story. And Toni, his mom, sits with us through the wild puzzle of it all. She helps us “storm brains,” look deeper, stay grounded, and keep the heart of the world pointed in the right direction.
The Pack Warriors is not just a fantasy series. It is a collaboration built out of love, creativity, and a stubborn belief that stories matter when we tell them together.
This week’s blog post reflects on that beginning. On how a spark from Nic grew into the first stories of the wolves. On how those early tales are only the beginning of a much larger legacy that is rising now.
If you want to read the full reflection, you can find it here: https://thepackwarriors.net/reflections/
And if this world has touched you, or if you want to help us keep building it one ember at a time, you can light a match here on this page. Every spark truly helps bring more of Nic’s story into the world.
Thank you for walking with the wolves.
May your week be filled with peace, gratitude, and the quiet magic that settles in the mountains at dusk.
Michele
